Yes we’ve been hibernating for a while, the rainy season has kept us from pushing through with our plans. But we’re back come 2014 and this time we’re bringing you to El Nido as our first destination. It’s one of my favorite places in the country and to add to the natural wonders we’re coinciding it with the Ati-atihan festival on the little known town of Barotuan in El Nido. It would surely add more photo opportunities for you guys. So check the details and sign up here guys!
In the line up for 2014 Backpack Photography Schedule is Batanes and the 3-years in the making Imbayah Festival in Banaue both for April. We’ll be having the registration page for Batanes up within the week. Hope to see you in one of our photo tours.
We just concluded our Backpack Photography Photo Tour Batanes last Holy Week and under the sunny and windswept landscape of Batanes, Backpack Photography is thankful to The Headware for providing each of the participants a Headware they can use. Strong winds? No problem! As the headware is tight and secure enough to fit anyone’s head where an occasional cap would easily be blown out. Some girls used it for hair protection to avoid it getting sticky from dust after a long day’s journey. I for one is happy to keep the beads of sweat from trickling down my face while hiking. It can also be used to wipe out some dirt on our lenses from occacional salt water splashes. It’s a very versatile outdoor wear!
Backpack Photography wishes to thank ANC (ABS-CBN News Channel) Shoptalk for inviting us to guest in their afternoon talkshow. As one of the co-founders, I was able to sit down with host Ria Tanjuatco-Trillo to talk about our specialized Photo Tours and Workshops. It was an interesting 11minutes+ conversation live on air. Here are some set snaps along with the video interview.
